Training
We can discuss specific training needs of our clients and help them to develop appropriate corporate health strategies, given the resources that they have available. We have training packages in First Aid for such organizations as the Road Safety Commission and the Police. We also have training packages in diminished responsibility and capacity that can be tailored to meet the needs of law enforcement officers, legal and medical professional interested in medico-legal work.
Road Safety Commision
We have training suitable for officers of the Road safety commission (and other frontline officers such as the police) who routinely deal with emergency situations. This training package aims to equip participants with knowledge of how to deal with emergency health situations and with the basic life support skills necessary for officers working in the community.
Police & Law Enforcement
This training focuses on offending behaviour in individuals who may have diminished responsibility. The objective is to help the trainees to become sensitive to the need, to treat such offenders with empathy consistent with modern day policing and law enforcement.
Medico-Legal
We have training packages that are suitable for medical officers working in the prisons and with the police. The objective is to equip the trainee with skills to carry out risk and mental health assessments and prepare medico-legal reports based on their assessments. We can also provide training suitable for trainees in the legal profession on matters relating to capacity and diminished responsibility.
